LONGWOOD, FL--The question of good and evil has been the subject of speculation for many centuries. Answers to the many questions relating to good and evil have been provided from both religious understandings as well as philosophical perspectives. Many great scholars and thinkers have expressed their opinions, understandings, interpretations, and rationalizations concerning the subject of good and evil. But thus far, no conclusive answers have been produced. Why did God allow evil to be a part of His creation? How did it start? Did He create it? Can't He prevent it? All this and more is addressed in God, Good, and Evil: Source, Reason, Destiny ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-523-6), a new title from Xulon Press author Charles E. Englehart.

"I hope readers gain an understanding of the fact that there was no other way God could have accomplished creation," he says. "[I want them to understand] the fact that God has promised to care for us with unlimited bounty, however, for some reason, we reject His offer and strive for our own accomplishments and achievements. Rejecting God, He brings wrath upon us in the hope that we will return to Him and follow His way. In His way, there is no evil. In our way, there is."

Following his Spiritual conversion, Englehart served as a lay speaker in a denominational church for nearly 15 years before actually being licensed to serve in the capacity of a minister. While serving in this capacity for nearly 20 years, he developed a strong interest in theology. Having accumulated a large personal library, he finds great satisfaction in being able to understand many of the godly truths and beliefs that are revealed in the Scriptures, and he feels obligated to share these understandings with everyone who is seeking them. Of his many research projects, this is the first to be presented in a book.
