MAITLAND, FL—William
Stewart Whittemore’s book, Ransomed: Let the
Redeemed of the Lord Say So ($10.99, paperback, 9781606475232;
$5.49; eBook,
9781624195013) was written with a hope and prayer that anyone reading
this book will realize that there is nothing too difficult in their life that
God cannot take them through it. Anyone reading this book will realize they do
not have to reach the point of despair that the author did in order to receive
help from God--God very much wants to have a loving relationship with us today.
Ransomed: Let the Redeemed of the Lord
Say So is a remarkable story of God delivering a man out of a horrible pit
of despair and death.
Whittemore says, “Depression
affects about 19 million Americans every year. Suicide is now our number 10
killer in this country today. It is imperative that everyone be aware of this
deadly illness. However, there are many expert professionals that can treat
depression, like the wonderful experts and caring individuals that God worked
through in healing me. This book is a true story of how much God loves and
cares for us. It is only by His miracle of life that I am here to testify to
that truth because before coming into the knowledge that reality, I wanted to
die.”
Today William Stewart Whittemore is totally
recovered from the depression and despair that almost killed him. Since his recovery
from depression, he has received his diploma in Lay Biblical Counseling from
Light University. Whittemore
is a blessed father and grandfather. Stewart is a Navy Veteran. Stewart has
recently been hired, as an On-Call Chaplain for his local hospital and to offer
free suicide prevention training (QPR-Question Persuade Refer), as a certified
instructor, to the local community. He appreciates the opportunity to speak on
depression and suicide to encourage others by his testimony. Stewart
additionally has written “But Who Do You Say That I Am?”, also published by
