LONGWOOD, FL--Everyone on the planet experiences pain of some sort during their lifetime, which begs the question: Is it possible to live a life of victory over pain? The answer is yes. In Overcoming Pain ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-855-1), a new release from Xulon Press author Rev. Dr. Norman E. Fields, readers will learn and perhaps be reminded of the principles from God's Word that will enable them to walk joyfully in the overcoming lifestyle. No matter what has happened in the past, you can live as the head and not the tail--because with Christ, we are victors and not victims.

"The central theme for [this book] is for the reader to understand that because of the finished work of Christ, faith in the truth of the Word can and will change the facts of hurt and pain in every area!" the author says. "[I hope readers will learn] that all things are possible to him who believe--and with God, all things are possible."

Fields, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, functions as a pastor and teacher in the body of Christ, and his desire is to help people maximize their full potential in God. To that end, the author has counseled people in virtually every walk of life for the past 28 years, touching many lives with his zest for God and life.

Rev. Dr. Norman E. Fields currently resides in Magnolia, Delaware, with his wife Cynthia and two of his three children, Cordell and Joshua. He holds a Masters of Science in community counseling from Wilmington University and a Doctor of Ministry in biblical studies from Friends International Christian University. He is nearing completion of his Ph.D. of philosophy in religious studies from Friends International Christian University.
