LONGWOOD, FL--Society has pushed people to follow a path to the American Dream of prosperity and fulfillment. But recent economic and societal events have exposed that this path is filled with lies and deception, leaving many people to wonder, "Is this what life was truly meant to be?" Within the pages of Navigating Life's Lost and Found: The True Path to Successfully Navigate through Today's Economic and Social Jungle ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-946-3), a new title from Xulon Press author Michael Hallmann, readers will be shown that the American Dream is truly attainable--but not by following the path that society has led so many to believe is the only way to true prosperity.

"The true path has been laid out for us thousands of years ago, but over the last 40 years, it has been abandoned, neglected, and ridiculed," the author says. "The true path is to put God first, and all of these things will be added unto you. My hope is that readers will recognize, like I did, that no matter how difficult your season in life may be, when you begin to follow the path God commands us to follow, life changes and becomes richer, fuller, happier, and we prosper."

Hallmann worked in finance and investments for Wall Street firms for 30 years, where chasing money and materialism is at a whole different level than the rest of society. After a brush with kidney cancer, his eyes were opened to the materialistic mindset that has permeated American culture. "As a result of my tenure in finance, I have seen countless numbers of people chase a dream that is as elusive as the wind," he explains. "The repercussions of their failed chase have had a detrimental effect on their personal and family lives."
