Xulon Author Challenges Belief That Purity Is Archaic in Book

Debut shows how to live a fulfilling life without compromising values

LONGWOOD, FL-In today's world, says author Jessica V. Psalidas, many women do not value sexual purity. As social mores become more relaxed, women are giving into temptation without understanding the importance of their own purity and of a strong relationship with God. "Women tell me it is too archaic and difficult to remain pure until they marry, and that virtue is a thing of the past," the author claims. That is why she penned Everlasting Purity (paperback, 978-1-60647-362-7), a new release from Christian self-publisher Xulon Press-to demonstrate how women can still live a rich and fulfilling life without compromising either their values or their purity.

Says the self-published author, "There are so many women and young women who are living with no values in their lives. My book shows you how you can live a life of excellence rich with high values and still enjoy life in every aspect. Premarital sex is high and the value of marriage is not what it used to be, but once we understand how God cherishes purity in women and make some changes in our lives, we can become women of excellence in every aspect."

Currently a coach for young women, Psalidas enjoys teaching others about the importance of purity. She is a firm believer that "it does not matter what generation we are living in-we can still protect the values we choose to stand by with the help of the Lord," the author says. "When we change our focus from the world's way to God's way, it becomes clear how we should treat our bodies and our lives."
