Unmasking the Tree of Knowledge ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-651-9), a new Xulon Press release from author Audrey E. Tauriac, seeks to prove why God could not have been its creator and why His mandate not to eat of the tree of knowledge was a warning against allowing the adversary in to steal mankind's magnificent inheritance. This book seeks to unveil, using Scripture, the tree's true creator: Satan.
"I want readers to learn that God is a loving, caring Creator who did not put a stumbling block in the way of man, but to issue the warning that the enemy was out to steal, kill, and destroy his birthright," the author says. "Knowing this is important because man must grow to understand that God is the most loving, caring Father the world will ever know and that He is absolutely deserving of all our trust."
Ever since a chance encounter with the Holy Spirit--in which He informed Tauriac that "there's a snake out here...and it will follow after the blood"--the author has been determined to spread this timely message to the body of Christ today. "We who have the blood of Jesus are prey for the adversary, and he will take every opportunity to follow that scent in order to steal, kill, and destroy us," she explains. "Therefore, the mandate to us, just as it was for Adam, is to guard and keep ourselves, being made aware of Satan's devices by the Word of God."
