LONGWOOD, FL--For more than 30 years, Xulon Press author T. Dale Pollard's spiritually unfulfilled life led him on a long search for answers. Following others' lead, he exhausted every option within the church and secular world to find relief from the internal confusion and conflict. As he came to the end of his capabilities and resources, he surrendered his life totally to the Spirit's control and, to his surprise, a miracle occurred. I Knew There Was More: One Person's Long Search for Spiritual Reality ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60647-907-0), a re-publication of the author's 1988 release, recounts that meaningful spiritual encounter, describing what it means to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Says the 72-year-old veteran author, "I feel many born-again saints are hungry for God and want God's best for their lives but are hindered from hearing the voice of the Spirit and following Him. Ministers beckon them to look their way and listen to their instructions, for God has given them the authority and responsibility, they claim, to 'grow and mature' the saints. I hope readers can see, through my testimony, that the One who brought new life to their being, the One who resides within them, wants to have direct and personal contact and lead them into all truth."

Pollard hopes to target audiences in the Pentecostal, Charismatic, and Evangelical communities because, he says, "I surmise that many of these [people] are living spiritually unfulfilled lives. I hope they will identify with my long-term struggles and see that because I found spiritual fulfillment, they can too."

T. Dale Pollard is the author of five other books: Man of the Spirit, The Guest Within, A Man's Sexuality, Harmony in Christian Marriage, and How Long Will God Wait?
