LONGWOOD, FL--Major political changes are underway that will affect the White House now and in the race for 2012. But can new people, new parties, and even new policies cure the nation's problem? Pastor and Christian attorney Jeffrey Daly says no. In his new Xulon Press book, The Spiritual Battle for the White House ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-61215-023-9; $5.99, eBook, 978-1-61215-164-9), the author reveals that Americans need to turn to the key source which the founding fathers relied on to create this country in order to solve their problems: divine providence. The spiritual blessing that once encompassed the White House has now vanished. But after reading this book, believers will be encouraged to take part in the spiritual battle to restore this blessing over the White House.

"The dialogue about national politics fills our news every day, but it needs to be expanded beyond personalities, parties, and programs," the author says. "Like our founders, we're now at a place where our problems require godly intervention. I hope readers see national politics in a whole new way, in the spiritual dimension, and that they get inspired to participate in local, state, and national politics, bold for Christ--as were the founders--using His wisdom in public service."

Daly says that it was a powerful epiphany in 1991 that brought him to Christ. Ever since then, he immediately saw how he and others in the New Age were "speaking for themselves" and making themselves their own "god." He prayed to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and then became a new creation in Christ with a whole different perspective on life. Now he works on political campaigns and initiatives and writes to help educate people on the dangers of omitting God politically.
