LONGWOOD, FL-Xulon Press author Avis Minott wants readers to know that whatever the situation, God will help us through it. In From Birth to New Birth ($9.99, paperback, 978-1-60266-134-9), the Jamaican-born author's new release, she chronicles the full account of her life from a child to an adult and the many challenges she met with unfailing courage. With God's help, Minott was able to survive and accomplish the goals she had, which included teaching her children to respect our Creator.

Says Minott, "I am hoping readers will be encouraged and, if they are experiencing failures, they will not give up what they want to accomplish in life and they will be refreshed and know that God will help them in whatever situation they should find themselves."

After becoming a Christian at the age of 22, when she attended the Billy Graham Crusade in 1958, the author found comfort in Jesus Christ. Hoping that her experiences would be of help to someone who was hurting and could not find peace to overcome trials and failures, Minott decided to pen her book. With the help of a little divine inspiration, the author managed to complete the undertaking shortly thereafter. Already, the author is receiving rave reviews from those who have read it: "This book was read by many who thought it was a great encouragement to them," she says.

Avis Minott and her husband, Lynden, have three children and three grandchildren. She currently resides in Maryland.
