Goldsmith, who began his ministry in 1958, found that adding a little humor to his sermons and teachings was good medicine for the listener and also helped to hold the attention of those to whom he was speaking. As with his sermons and teachings, his book contains that same brand of humor, and it is already beloved by all ages. "I had 50 copies of this printed last Christmas and gave them to family friends and sold a few copies," the author explains. "I was amazed at the teenagers and college kids that enjoyed it. They were reading their grandparents' copy of the book. And before I ran out of books, one grandparent bought another book for their grandchildren."
