LONGWOOD, FL-Miracles still happen every day. Don't believe it? Just take it from Steven Cooke, an author who has undergone more than 140 surgeries over the past thirty years, receiving miracle after miracle from God that saved his life. His book, Conversations with a Masterpiece, Miracles and Medical Marvels! (paperback, 978-1-60477-573-0) is an easy read that is exciting and also a fast flowing book. Cooke tells of his incredible medical life with miracle healing after miracle healing that God has given him. Many times, he should have died from critical medical adversities, but God saved him so he might complete his planned purpose in life. This book is full of inspiration and wisdom on living life as it is given to you. Every organ transplant patient and their required support personnel should read this book and take notes.

Says Cooke, "[My book] reinforces that God does daily miracles and we should never give up with what our life has to offer. God has a planned destiny for [our lives]."

The author was introduced to the organ transplant world when his kidneys failed in 1975; he was 18 years old. After receiving a kidney transplant in 1976, he has been a vocal advocate for organ transplants by conducting organ donor awareness presentations throughout Northern California. Many setbacks--both personal and medical--have befallen him, yet he always springs back and has a great attitude: "I still am a positive, upbeat person [who] strives to serve my fellow man," he says.
