LONGWOOD, FL?'Planet Earth: Home to six-and-a-half billion people, eight principal races, and six primary religions. It is a planet so fractionalized that hatred grows exponentially each day. How can a one world order ever be ushered in? How can global unity ever truly come into existence? It will take more than a misguided utopian socialist agenda from the liberal left. It will take more than a charismatic peacemaker emerging onto the world scene. It will require a threat greater than any threat ever posed in terms of man against man, tribe against tribe, nation against nation. What begins as a routine documentary for the SCI-FAC Network challenges James Devlin's already compromised faith and leads him to the doorstep of hell in Daniel A. Floersch's A Time of the Signs: When Seeing Isn't Believing ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-379-8). The fascinating novel will make the reader truly think about or totally rethink the subject of apologetics.

Says the author, "The story provides a viable explanation as to what the growing cult-like fascination with UFO phenomenon might be about, how it could be readily used by the Antichrist as both a scare tactic to unite the various cultures on earth, [and to] explain the disappearance of millions of Christians at the rapture."

The novel derives its inspiration from Floersch's desire to get nonbelievers to reevaluate their position on the concepts of eternal existence and Christ's gift of salvation: "I believe if you truly study and apply deductive logic, the scales distinctly tip toward the existence of God," he says. "This ultimately is the thought process I want to plant in the minds and hearts of the nonbeliever. I want them to have to think about it logically."
