LONGWOOD, FL-A theologian and minister, up-and-coming author Hendrick Park has penned a new book, The Roman Catholic Church – A Critical Appraisal (paperback, 978-1-60477-782-6; hardcover, 978-1-60477-783-3), that will unveil the Roman Catholic Church as a perversion of Christianity. As the largest denomination with 1.1 billion adherents, the Roman Catholic Church asserts it is the only true church founded by Christ. Today there is a pervasive indifference as to the question what is the true Christianity. This is a serious situations because there are numerous false or only partly true versions of Christianity. Park attempts a critical appraisal of the Roman Catholic Church using the criteria of the Bible and history.
Says the Canadian-based author, "In the book, I advocate a continuing reformation. The reformation which was started by Luther and Calvin in the 16th century must continue to restore and preserve the Christianity of the Holy Scripture. It is hoped that the readers of this book will see this proposition is clearly substantiated in it biblically and historically."
