LONGWOOD, FL-Responding to the burning desire to share the pathway to healing for deeply wounded hearts, author Terry {Campbell} Lebendig brings readers cutting edge, true life testimonies of victims who have become triumphant in the face of adversity. Overwhelmed by her pain and on the verge of suicide, the author discovered hope and healing through her trials--and now she will lead readers on a journey to healing as she reveals the power and truth that gave her boundless freedom from the past. Treasures of Darkness: Hidden Riches in Secret Places ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-383-6), her new title from Xulon Press, contains inspirational and revealing personal testimonies that will open the eyes of readers to new hope for wounded hearts resulting from abuse and/or addictions.

"It is my passion and desire to see the deep wounds of others healed and their lives on a spiritual path to new direction, fulfilling their destined purpose," the author says. "Through a personal relationship with Christ, that is what I have found and wish to share with them. This is a heartfelt story of triumphant victories overcoming tribulation!"

Lebendig is fast becoming a voice in the wilderness to the wounded of abuse. A victim of an alcoholic, domestically violent environment, she has worked both as an addictions nurse and as the detox supervisor of a Christian alcohol rehab center for more than 15 years. She has traveled statewide to present her message in person and is a published author of inspirational poems and medical articles. It is her hope that this book will resonate with other sufferers of abuse who are looking for healing from their deep wounds.
