LONGWOOD, FL-Are you a God seeker? In all your seeking, have you found the true God? Where have you looked for Him? Perhaps you have looked into meditation, nature, Eastern religions, yoga, self-awareness, mysticism, or some other type of spiritual system? Maybe you are realizing, in all of this, you haven't found God! You may feel confused, disheartened, and on the verge of giving up. Guy Peter Calandra, author of the newly-released The Inside Word: An Inside Look at the Family of God (paperback, 978-1-60477-746-8), was at that point once. After trying all of the above mentioned, he actually said, "I'll try the Bible again, and if I don't find God, there is no God!" Yet, he did find God and Immanuel was born inside his heart. Now, in The Inside Word, he seeks to share with readers how God has the power, ability, and desire to have a deep personal relationship with people and people have the ability to respond in this relationship.
Says Calandra, "I hope each reader will come to an understanding that the hope of a living God is true and, through Jesus Christ, mankind can know Him and interact with Him in many ways. Hopefully, this knowledge will change every life for the better."
Armed with a scientific background in pharmacy, the author uses his knowledge of science and human experience to bring spiritual truth into reality. Through secular and non-secular employ, he has learned how to see the Scripture in new ways, bringing out the old to meet the time of today. "I am a humble man trying to understand God like everyone else," he says.
Guy Peter Calandra, an active registered pharmacist, was raised on Long Island and attended Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee.
