LONGWOOD, FLA.-A wonderfully creative book that ultimately is a testimonial to the goodness and healing power of Jesus Christ, Pennsylvania Voices on Healing (paperback, 978-1-60266-947-5) is a work of fiction, a collection of beautiful art, and a journal written from the hearts of authors and sisters MaryAnn DiEdwardo and Patti Pasda, who weave their love of horses, painting, and prayer into this book, their newest creation. They show the love of God through characters in their story who exemplify strengths that can only be found through the Holy Spirit.

In 2000, when their father's illness forced his relocation to a nursing home, Patti and Maryann turned to prayer. Then, just as they were still reeling from this difficult situation, Patti was diagnosed with cancer. "I survived the cancer treatments through prayer, painting, and writing," affirms Patti. "Prayer inspired us to write. MaryAnn and I praise our Shepherd Jesus for the gifts of writing and painting that we have expressed in this book." It is their prayer that the reader will hear the whispers of the Holy Spirit in the book's pages.

MaryAnn Pasda DiEdwardo and Patricia J. Pasda are both gifted writers and artists, and both have a great love for all things equestrian. They promote the fine arts at Pasda Studios of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a professional art school for children and young adults. MaryAnn and Patti have written a series of books together, and both have paintings in the collections of over 1,000 people scattered around the globe. Patti also teaches, lectures, and does public service activities for children. Maryann is a landscape painter and a Shakespearean illustrator.
