LONGWOOD, FL--Many people will experience pain in life, whether it's the loss of a loved one, heartbreak, sickness, or other traumatic experiences. For author Lisa A. Jackson, her mother's death left her traumatized, helpless, and lost in pain for years. Not knowing or remembering who her mother was, she became desperate to be loved. Within the pages of her new Xulon Press book, Going in Circles...Going Nowhere ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-637-0), the author tells a true account of what God can do in a person's life. This true story was written within the depths of her heart; God inspired her to share it so that others will understand that He will turn past failures into triumphs.

"I want to reach those who are lost within their emotions; without direction; and longing to be found, loved, healed, and saved from a life of hurt, drama, abuse, and pain," the author says. "I hope readers get hope, encouragement, positive vibes, and the understanding that while going through life struggles, one can easily take the wrong path but can be steered in the right direction if only they would put their trust in God, who can make the impossible possible."

Jackson, a resident of Miami, Florida, personally experienced everything in this book, which tells how she walked the path of pain while searching for love for years. Little did she know that she had been set apart for God's purpose the entire time. Once she came to this realization, life's tests and obstacles no longer seemed traumatic but divine. "I obtained strength that led me to rise above my past hurt to healing," she explains. "I am still rising, not looking at my conditions but looking to God."
