LONGWOOD, FL--In this time of so much uncertainty and fear, Xulon Press author Virginia Wood's Enjoying the Journey ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-029-6; $19.99, hardcover, 978-1-61579-030-2) has the potential to bring hope and comfort to millions of people around the world. Packed full of the many supernatural experiences the author has personally been blessed with--including several healing miracles that defy medical explanation--this book gives a candid account about the awesome presence of God and How he always protects His children from harm.

"I hope that when they read about God's interaction in my life, they will realize that He loves them as much as He does me," the author says. "[I hope they realize] that He is an awesome, miracle-working God who desires a close personal relationship with them, and they will begin to understand the grace of God. And [I want them] to know they were already forgiven and healed over 2,000 years ago at the cross."

Born and raised in Mercer County, Ohio, Wood is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who has loved and served the Lord for nearly 57 years. During this time, she has seen His hand at work in the affairs of her life. "He has blessed me with miracles of healing from polio as a teenager, as well as rheumatic fever, and has healed me of a congenital heart defect when over forty years of age," the author explains. So powerful is her first published work concerning all these experiences--which was written at the request of her granddaughter, Stephanie--that the author's words will inspire those who know God to draw closer, and those who do not yet know His love to have a desire to serve Him.
