LONGWOOD, FL--Within the pages of author Kenneth Campbell's book, God Called My Name ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-373-0), is a story about a common man whose heart was filled with hate and the uncommon God who delivered him from the slime pit of hell. Campbell, a self-described "hard nut to crack," refused to know the love of a God who longed to set him free for a very long time. It was only when the hard nut cracked open, and he jumped out shouting, "I'm free, I'm free!" that the author soon realized he was not alone--non-believers all over the world who had lived in denial for so long like him had to be made to see the error of their ways. In this book, Campbell unveils several testimonies that show the power God has in the lives of His people and His protection over them.

"[My book] tells the best news that has ever been told of being born again through the power of God," the author says. "I was a man who was bound for hell until God spoke to me. I had been told of being born again--and how Jesus can set you free--through the power of God and the Holy Spirit. Everyone who reads this book will come to know the way to heaven [through] many testimonies of myself and other ordinary people."

Dubbed "a blessing to me and the church" by Pastor Leroy Nixon of Second Baptist Church, this book is being lauded as a labor of love that will prove God is still a miracle worker and that He wants to manifest Himself to a non-believing world.

Kenneth Campbell currently resides in Rolla, Missouri.
