LONGWOOD, FL--In chapter three of Exodus, God met with Moses to help deliver His children from the grip of Egypt. Although Moses felt as though he had nothing to offer, God used him and the treasures that were hidden in him to set the entire nation of Israel free. Within the pages of Coming out of Egypt: A Road Map to the Ne Me I Always Wanted to Be ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61215-030-7), a new title from Xulon Press, author Brenda Joy Brooks hopes to similarly guide readers to discover the treasures that are hidden within them--treasures that can enhance their lives and the lives of those they meet along life's highway. The author not only directs readers through attitudes of the heart and a spiritual walk with the Father, but also gives relevant hints for enhancing outward beauty with ideas for fashion, hair, and make-up.

"My book is a message to set women free to be all God created them to be as his beautiful, wonderful, and highly treasured daughters," the author says. "This is a word for such a time as this! Women are running to and fro to complete the task set before them. They feel overwhelmed and defeated. They need to know there is hope and they are part of a big plan!"

Brooks--who is a mother, grandmother, Bible teacher, and speaker--hopes that by writing this book, she will help deliver the hurting into the arms of Jesus Christ. "If I am able to be used of God to pry even one [woman] loose from the grip of Egypt and put in her hand a roadmap to the Promised Land, then the writing of this book will be worth the effort," she explains.
