MAITLAND, FL— There are times when the Lord speaks and no one listens; then there are times when the Lord speaks and gives no other choice, but to listen. Matthew Scott knew the Lord had pressed a new ministry upon his heart and he immediately took action. After a church service he approached his pastor about an idea for a ministry that would allow him to teach about health and how it relates to the Christian life. A ministry that started as a class scheduled twice a month at Scott’s church has now turned into a book, Fit to Serve ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-062-5; $32.99, hardcover, 978-1-61904-063-2; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-61904-583-5), in which the author has compiled all the information his readers need to live a healthy life as it directly relates to being a healthy servant of the Lord.

“God has been speaking softly to my heart about beginning a ministry to help people see how important it is to be in good health as a child of God for a long time, but the time and place were never right,” expresses the author. “The Lord made us with a spirit, mind and body for a specific purpose. It is our responsibility to maintain and build the health of all three to become the most fit servant that we can be.”
