MAITLAND, FL— Life’s journeys are different for every individual. The scenery and routes are specific to each person and no two paths are alike. Beverly Wernet walks readers through her life’s trials within the pages of her new book, Eclipse of a Soul ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-377-0), which she uses as a tool to reach out to people of all faiths and walks of life who have a loved one or are personally experiencing feelings of hopelessness, turmoil, despair, weakness, uncertainty, anger, sorrow and the absence of God in their lives, through death, divorce, abuse or loss of faith.

“I want to shed meaning on the dark nights of one’s soul by describing those disturbing, unsettling emotions that may be resolved through self-discovery of the light of God’s presence within,” expresses the author. “I want to provide inspiration and encouragement for people seeking God in their lives and that they will find Him while reading this story of discovery of God in my life and the reflections that evolved from His presence.”

Beverly Wernet currently resides with her husband, Douglas, and their two Aussiedoodles in New York. She received her Master’s degree in the Science of Nursing at the University of Akron and retired from a twenty-year career in nursing, spanning from Intensive Care nursing to Director of Nursing Practice and Research. The author has experienced the death of both her parents within a nine-month period, her young brother-in-law the following year and the “death” of a marriage.
