MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Lillie Mae Jenkin’s new book, Letters of Encouragement ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-679-5; $22.99, hardcover, 978-1-61904-680-1; $7.49, eBook, 978-1-61904-681-8), readers will gain a better appreciation for the Bible because the author relates scripture passages to the issues of everyday life. It is Jenkin’s intent to help readers understand that the Bible is a real and living testament to God’s love for all His children. Most find the Bible to be very large and intimidating, so when they are struggling with something it seems so overwhelming to try and find the answer needed in its multitude of pages; similar to finding a needle in a haystack. Jenkins proves that is not the case. She has found the answers to her own life’s challenges in God’s word.

“I want to share this joyful resource with my readers through the lessons in my book,” expresses the author. “People are gripped by the fear of crisis or are already living defeated lives in doubt an despair. It is possible for them to move forward. Where do they go from here? How do they get beyond their state of paralysis to live a life of confidence in God’s love? It is my prayer that readers will see the light of hope in my letters.”

Lillie Mae Jenkins received her Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and her Masters degree in Christian Counseling from Christian Bible College. She is an ordained evangelist and serves her church as a Sunday school teacher, usher and is the president and trainer of both senior and junior usher boards. Although at times, she tried to run from the Lord’s message and risking her salvation, she has been hearing His message her entire life and when she finally returned to God, He gave her the gift of epistle writing, which took the form of letters written to others who were searching for solace, answers and inspiration.
