MAITLAND, FL— In Lillian Hart’s new book, A Leaf in the Wind ($29.99, paperback, 978-1-61379-487-6), the author poses a question to readers: Had they have ever been in a situation that snatched them from familiar surroundings? Ever felt like they are they drifting in the wind? The author’s point is to express that God will move someone to a place that is unfamiliar so that they may adapt to the changes He has prepared for that person’s life.

A Leaf in the Wind is a story in rhyme about the whimsical adventures of a simple leaf shaken from his beloved tree. Throughout his adventurous journeys, he learns to rise above his unusual circumstances by embracing many valuable lessons about purpose, prejudice, survival, thanksgiving, trust, friendship, and forgiveness,” the author expresses. “By reading this book, you will learn valuable life lessons from this simple leaf.”

Lillian Hart has served as a music educator in the state of Arkansas for the past nineteen years. She is a 1989 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Lula R. Jones and the late Howard Jones, both of Osceola. Currently, she is the high school band director at McClellan High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
