New Title Helps Readers Share Their “God Story”

Waldrop provides a new approach to sharing personal testimony

2012-01-26

MAITLAND, FL— Through several years of seminary training, Eric Waldrop was supplied with a few gospel-sharing formulas, which he is grateful for, but he always found them cold and manufactured. Waldrop’s new book, My God Story: Know It. Tell It. ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-141-8; $5.49, eBook, 978-1-61996-142-5), helps individuals find the right words in their heart to share their testimonial with others. This book proposes a new approach that is practical, simple and doable. Every “God story” is a good story. Every time someone is moved by faith, it is a good story.

“I believe the best stories are not often told. My goal is to help people discover the unique value of their transformation story and know how to communicate it clearly in their circle of influence,” expresses Waldrop. “I hope readers will reflect on the important influences that God has used to shape their life. I want them to be able to identify those significant influences. I want to help them acquire the skills to communicate those influences. Lastly, I pray they will spend a lifetime telling their personal story in a clear and compelling way.”

Eric Waldrop has served for many years in the field of ministry and is currently an Executive pastor. He received a Bachelor of Science from Wingate University, a Master’s of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary with a special emphasis on Small Group Leadership Development. Waldrop currently resides in North Carolina with his family.
