MAITLAND, FL— Fun Time with Jesus ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61379-718-1), Gloria Trotman’s new book, is a devotional book for children who are beginning to read. It introduces the child, at an early age, to the personal devotional habit. Children will enjoy reading the passages by themselves. The topics address issues that children encounter in their daily lives.

This is not another regular devotional book to be read in family devotions,” the authors stress. “Many children’s devotional books are intended for parents or guardians to read to their children in family devotions. This book is specially designed for children to use by themselves in their own personal devotions, so that the children can develop a daily personal devotional habit.

Both authors have done extensive work with children, and are previously published. Dr. Gloria Trotman, a commissioned minister, is an educator with experience as a teacher and counselor at all levels of the school system. She has been a Director of Children’s Ministries, conducting workshops nationally and internationally. Dr. Karen-Mae Trotman Mitchell is a physician with a burden for children. In addition to her publications, Dr. Mitchell has created programs for children. She also teaches music and science at a junior academy.
