MAITLAND, FL— In Adepero Mettabel Okulaja’s new book, The Voice of One Woman ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-797-6; $24.99, dust jacket, 978-1-61904-487-6; $5.99, e-book, 978-1-61996-681-9), the author’s hope is that the readers will be inspired to see their womanhood as a gift from God. She also hopes that they can see their beings as beautiful and to help propel them to discovering their own voice.

“Through the process of God working in me, I have been inspired to see myself as a deliberate work of creation. …Take a deep breath; your journey has also begun. I may not know where you are now or where your steps will take you, but destiny will lead you on,” states the author. “Let us walk together. Let’s be inspired to see our womanhood as a gift to be unwrapped daily and our beings as beautiful.”

This is the first book by Adepero Mettabel Okulaja, M.D., a practicing internal medicine physician in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dr. Okulaja continues to write as she pursues her other passion: the art of healing body, soul, and spirit. She has shared stories of her experiences as a minister and a physician who believes in complete health and wholeness, spirit, soul and body, for the ultimate goal of comforting others the way she has been comforted.
