MAITLAND, FL Cheryl L. Boone’s new book, Let a Sorrowful Heart Sing ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-631-4) is meant to inspire anyone who may be going through a difficult time. The author wants to use her poems to allow God to touch the reader. This book shows that no matter the circumstance, God deserves praise and glory because He can bring anyone through the storm.

I’m praying that a hurting heart can relate to emotions and experiences shared and that the reader will be touched by the Lord, bringing them just a little closer to Him and the joy that only the Holy Spirit give,” states the author. “Maybe, in just a word or two, the reader will gain an understanding from a new yet simple perspective and even bring a smile.”

Cheryl L. Boone is a wife of 22 years with a blended family of 3 children and 8 grandchildren. She is currently working in the health care industry for a Home Health, Palliative Care and Hospice agency and is surrounded by people who are going through difficult times. It was during a difficult time in the author’s own life, while sitting at the kitchen counter one day, scribbling, pen and paper in hand and asking the Lord for help, that she started writing.
