MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of his new book, BENNY to BEYONCE ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-721-2; $32.99, hardcover, 978-1-61996-722-9; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-61996-723-6), Jerry Stitt uses popular music references, all the way from the big band era of Benny Goodman to Beyonce. This music is the “hook” to present God’s love and saving grace.

“[This book is] life changing! Many readers respond that this book has changed their lives,” states the author. “Kirk Whalum, renowned international recording artist and Whitney Houston’s band leader for seven years, tells how just one chapter impacted his life. Readers will gain much insight into popular music history, but of more importance is the opportunity to have an out of tune life orchestrated into tune by the one and only Maestro.

Jerry Stitt’s ministry began at age sixteen, when he had his own gospel radio show and was associate director of the Bill Wilson Boy’s Club, in Anderson, Indiana. For more than forty years, Stitt organized and directed youth and young adult music groups. His performances on four continents included congressional dinners, entertaining an audience of 18,000 in Vienna, Austria, music director for the Evangelical United Brethren Indiana Conference, now known as the United Methodist Church and a symphony Orchestra member eight years. He served as a pastor for more than fifty years.
