MAITLAND, FL Dr. Gwendolyn Washington’s new book, INNER HEALING ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-181-4; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-61996-929-2) emphasizes the need for inner healing from past soul wounds to bring holistic well-being and soundness to spirit, soul, and body. The author’s mission is to shift the reader’s attitude from “victim” to “survivor”. Many people have been abused in some way, this book helps its readers come to God with their deeply hidden wounds and be healed once and for all.

I want readers to know there is hope for total healing of inner pain and suffering from past experiences that possibly did not originate within themselves,” states the author. “It is important to allow deep wounds that are superficially cured to be uncovered so that individual(s) can be set free. Many times it begins with forgiveness.”

Dr. Gwendolyn Washington has been actively involved in the ministry of healing for over twenty years. She experienced praying for some patients who were each in a coma between1990-1991 and they all came out, one person had been in a coma for three months with a very poor prognosis. Gwen has prayed for many for a spiritual healing, and for soul wounds. In 1990 she realized there was a special calling on her life to minister to those who needed to be healed. She has been a registered nurse for thirty-two years and has seen many sick, broken, hurting folk.
