MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Dr. Gloria J. Nobles’ new book, Rhymers and Reflections with Reason ($13.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-846-2; $6.99, e-book, 978-1-62230-298-7) readers will discover a collection of poetry, that the author has dubbed “rhymers”, and short stories. What is special about these rhymers is that they reflect life: family, friends, beliefs and experiences. The author divides her reflections into categories related to family, bereavement, spirituality, and others with sprinklings of humor.

This book represents how God speaks through us while we are enjoying His blessings,” states the author. “We must empower those around us by using God’s gifts as tools to share with others so they, too, feel His love. By doing so, we will strengthen and inspire them to show love to others.” This book is a testimony of the author’s love of family, of friends, and most importantly, of God.

Dr. Gloria J. Nobles has been an educator and mentor for over thirty years. She began teaching in the Chicago Public School system and, for the past twenty-three years, has been a professor at American River College in Sacramento in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. Writing is Dr. Nobles’ favorite hobby. She writes both short stories and what she refers to as “rhymers”. Her love and dedication to teaching does not compare with her love for writing words provided by God in the form of rhyme and being able to share His words using this writing tool with others.
