MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Ella Painter Price’s poignant and powerful new book, Riverstone ($24.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-306-9; $9.99, eBook, 978-1-62230-307-6), readers will begin to unfold the true story of a man’s life and the miracles that encompassed his tragic and untimely death. Due to the overwhelming pain and sorrow the author has felt since losing her son, she now has the ability to reach so many readers enduring the same heartache that only a parent who has lost a child can know. This book exemplifies the intricacy of God and how He is woven into every aspect of a man’s life and death as long as the man chooses to walk with the Lord.

“We each experience life in a different way. Choosing to live life with great faith and purpose and with joy and contentment is both newsworthy and life saving, mentally, psychologically, physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually,” states the author. “My purpose in writing this story [is] to allow God to speak through my son’s life and death and through my words to comfort and support others who have experienced similar battles in life and similar pain and losses with death.”

Ella Painter Price has been a writer her entire life. Her poems and short stories have been published several times. When she first sat down to write this book, it was supposed to be a book relating all the exciting adventures her unique little family had experienced by the river, at Riverstone. It wasn’t until her son was killed, that her book began to take a different shape as she decided to center the book on his life and death and the miracles that surrounded his tragic loss. The author wholeheartedly admits that she knows if she and her son had not allowed God into their lives during this part of their journey that she and his children would not have survived.
