Davidson pens a message: the King beckons His bride to become the role model

2012-09-24

MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Elda Elizabeth Davidson’s new book, OUR TIME NOW ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-123-7; $5.49, e-book, 978-1-62419-124-4) readers will see themselves in a completely different light. The author uses the Biblical metaphor of Christ as a King and the church as His bride. According to Davidson, the King is calling His bride to a much higher standard of living, as a means of influencing the rest of society to rise to His standard.

“Society is quickly being robbed of its Christian influence,” states the author. “Family structure has been broken, school systems [are] dysfunctional, government [is] corrupt, and yes, our churches- often, ineffective. In an effort to be seeker sensitive, we have lost our voice in the land. The King is calling for role models.”

Elizabeth, better known as Beth, Davidson has served the Lord for thirty-seven years. She and her husband, Buddy, were called to pioneer a church when they were only three and one half years old in the Lord. With no experience, they birthed the church that they now pastor, The House of Prayer, in Clarksville, Virginia. They have been pastor there for thirty-two years. Beth has since received her Bachelor of Theology degree from Christian Life School of Theology located in Columbus, Georgia.
