MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Jerry Blout’s new book, What Kind Will be My Kind ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-617-6; $25.99, hardcover, 978-1-62230-618-3; $30.99, dust jacket, 978-1-62419-441-2; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-62230-619-0) the reader will receive a peek into the author’s perspective on many topics. Having been a non-believer for forty-four years and “the contrast of twenty-five years of trusting God”, Blout brings a refreshing energy while examining Scripture.

“In 2008, I made a resolution to send daily messages to a select group of family and friends,” states the author. “At the beginning of the year, there were thirteen on our distribution list. By year’s end, the number had grown to twenty-nine. I’ve subtitled them ‘Life lessons from a dad and granddad’s twenty-five-year walk with Christ.’”

Jerry Blout was born at home in London Mills, Illinois, a river town of less than 150 people. He and his wife, Carolyn, have two children. Gregg, born October 12, 1962, lives in Parker, Colorado. Sheryl (Sherry) Borzych, born June 2, 1965, lives in San Antonio. They have four grandchildren: Brad, Brandi, Megan and Mia. Jerry and Carolyn retired in November of 2006, moving to San Antonio, Texas in 2007 where they currently reside.
