“In the political, religious, and educational arenas, decisions are being made which impact both institutions,” states the author. “Every generation needs a perspective, a hope and an assurance that a personal decision to get married, start a family, and make a positive contribution as a family to society is not a futile adventure. There are intrinsic human values to be treasured, preserved, and transmitted to the next generation. The family has proven to be that vehicle best suited to do that job.”
Pastor Everette W. Howell developed his authority on marriage and families during both his ministry, and his marriage to Audrey, his wife of over fifty years. He is now a retired ordained pastor, and has served as a teacher and a church administrator in the United States, United Kingdom, and the Caribbean. He has higher degrees from U.S. universities, and is also a certified Family Life Educator, an outstanding preacher, and public speaker. He has accumulated a wealth of experience serving on hospital boards, boards of education, and the Palliative Care Board.
