It is a comprehensive and historically written book that touches not only on
the creation of man and people of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, but
also provides a brief biography of each of the United States presidents,
inventions, medical discoveries and other areas that have played into the
journey of the human race. Duckett’s true desire is for her readers to see the
necessity in making sure they are on the right path in their journey with God.
“This is a book about religion and history
— a story of mankind’s journey through life from the beginning of creation to
the New Jerusalem, where it will end, and have a new beginning where it will
never end,” states the author. “It [has taken me] 85 years to do this; [it] is
the second book I have published and I hope the readers will enjoy this book.”
Joyce Hardegree Duckett was educated in the
Atlanta schools and graduated during World War II. She became employed as a
secretary to a naval officer until the war was over. After that she continued
to serve in various secretarial positions before returning to law school. She
spent ten years working in the legal field, was employed by the Internal
Revenue Service and then began an accounting and income tax business. Early in
her career, she met and married her soul mate, a World War II hero with whom
she has three children. The author currently resides in Georgia in the house
they built before her husband’s passing. Endless
Journey is Duckett’s second published book, the first is Though He Slay Me.
