MAITLAND, FL— William M. Templeton’s new book, Understanding Acts Volume Two Chapters 12-28 ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-62509-242-7; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-62509-243-4) is to help the pastor, Sunday School teacher, and lay person understand that being on mission with God is the calling of the Church during the Church Age. According to Templeton, by using Paul’s missionary endeavors, the local church can plan a missions strategy for modern-day world evangelization. The author’s overall objective is that the reader would gain a better understanding of the Book of Acts.

“This is a new approach to understanding Scripture,” states the author. “In the vein of exegesis, this commentary goes one step further by examining human relationships and behaviors. It not only explains the meaning of verses, but of events and eras. A clearer understanding of being on mission with God to evangelize our lost world provides a wealth of wisdom for the church of today.”

William M. Templeton attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University from 1969 through 1972. He then transferred to what is now Liberty University where he majored in pastoral studies and theology. However, since then he has gained a wealth of experience, which he has used to aid in teaching and presenting the principles of the Word of God. For more than forty years, the author has been studying Scripture in an effort to bring the Word of God to every person in a clear and understandable fashion. Templeton has also authored: “How To Make Your Dating Years FUN!”, “The Chronology of the Revelation”, “Clear Answers to Murky Questions”, “Understanding Genesis”, and “Understanding Acts – Volume One”.
