MAITLAND, FL— Elijah A. Lamb’s new book, The Portrait of a Prophet ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-284-5; $7.49, e-book, 978-1-62419-285-2) bears the purpose of presenting a vivid portrait of a genuine prophet of God, and to highlight the necessity of his ministry today. The author’s message is not only dedicated to the prophets, but rather to all members in the body of Christ, in order to challenge and encourage all who read the book.

“I hope readers would be enlightened in the ways of the prophet; be challenged by his life, and see the relevance of his ministry in this hour so they can prepare the way of the Lord in holiness before the Lord's return,” states the author. “Judgment must begin in the house of God for the reason that Christ is coming for a holy and undefiled bride. Hence, the need for genuine prophets to arise and expose and condemn sin, and turn the hearts of the people back to God.”

Of his expertise, the author expresses “God started dealing with me in 2007. I was led to go the School of the Prophets at the Institute of Spiritual Warfare, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries UK in 2008. It was after this the Lord called me, and began to prepare me. While waiting on the Lord in May 2009, I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write this book.”
