MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Patricia Reding’s
new book, OATHTAKER ($30.99, paperback, 978-1-62509-693-7; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-62509-694-4) readers will be shown what it means to
honor his or her word; that sacrifice might be required to follow through to do
what has been promised. The author also examines the cost of personal failures
and the effect on others.
“I hope readers will be encouraged to know that there are those who will do as they say they will do, even when the cost to them is high,” states the author. “We are frequently disappointed with others: parents, spouses, children, coworkers, friends, teachers, politicians, who say one thing, then do another. There is value to being a person of your word—and sometimes there is sacrifice required to be such.”
Patricia Reding is a wife, mother of three (four, counting her son’s lovely new bride) and has been a practicing attorney for a couple of decades. She has numerous hobbies and interests, some of which will be apparent in “OATHTAKER”—like writing, herb gardening and creating good food. Currently, when not otherwise engaged, she is working on “SELECT,” the first sequel to “OATHTAKER.”
Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian self-publisher, with more than 8,000 titles published to date.
