MAITLAND, FL— Motorcycling is a passion shared by
people of all ages. Bobby Martin had those enthusiasts in mind when writing his
new book. Morning Ride ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-859-5; $5.99, e-book, 978-1-62419-860-1) is a collection of thirty-two devotional
insights that focus readers on their relationship with God through examples and
illustrations drawn from motorcycles and the people who ride them.
“[This book] is a unique discipleship tool that appeals to bikers and even non-bikers will find an interesting way to spend time with God,” states the author. “There aren’t many devotional books specifically geared to bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts. With the many Christian-based biker clubs out there who are trying to reach the lost, this book gives them a tool to put in the hands of the new believer as a starting place for getting into the Bible.”
Bobby Martin is a pastor, author, musician, and Harley Davidson enthusiast. He rides with other motorcycle devotees in his church and travels extensively to speak for both religious and secular organizations. He and his wife Dianna have five children, four of which are married, and one granddaughter. They reside in Tomball, Texas.
Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian self-publisher, with more than 8,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order Morning Ride through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors. The book is available online through xulonpress.com/bookstore, amazon.com, and barnesandnoble.com.
