MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Lily M. Hsu, M.D. and Dana Roberts’s new book, My Unforgettable Memories: Watchman Nee and Shanghai Local Church ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-62509-940-2; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-62509-941-9) is a unique disclosure of the historical narrative of Watchman Nee and Shanghai Local Church (S.C.A.) with personal experience and exploration from Dr. Hsu. The book focuses on Nee’s strong influence on modern Chinese church history and its theology.

“The unique disclosure of the true history of the Local Church Movement in China serves as important lessons for today’s churches,” states Hsu. “It should remind believers of the importance of righteous behavior in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.”

During 1947-1956, around the period of the regime change to communism, Lily Hsu was much involved at S.C.A. activities and experienced the political turmoil of the church. She attended series of Nee’s special meetings, his trial in 1956, with her first-hand testimonies. She was born in China, coming to US in 1981 and practiced as a pediatric neurologist in Baton Rouge, LA in 1989-2006. Mr. Dana Roberts is a recognized authority on the doctrines of the Local Church and lived in China for many years. He has interviewed members of S.C.A. still living in Shanghai.
