$5.99, e-book, 978-1-62697-137-0)
will
unite those who read it in a shared experience. Furthermore, the author writes
this work to honor the Lord. Groce’s desire is to present the reader with an
artistic expression of her experiences and thoughts; she explains, “…The poems
in this book reflect the pilgrimage of a soul not unlike your own.”
“The work encompasses a broad spectrum of life’s experiences and emotions,” states the author. “It puts into words what is often just deeply felt. These words will nourish your emotions and very soul, and you will return to them often only to make new discoveries.”
Myra Shire Groce holds a Master’s degree and is a veteran of the Air Force. On the way to becoming an opera singer, she “met the Lord.” She was also once a schoolteacher and is currently married with two children. Of her expertise, the author adds, “Being able to write is a gift. It’s like music; you can study it for years, but if you don’t have the talent to start with, you will never be a composer. I’m always amazed at how my poems come out in one big lump. It’s as if God was cooking them in my soul and then they are born at the end of my pen.”
