MAITLAND, FL— Dr. Linda J. Pugsley’s new book, DMR-5: The Next Generation ($16.99, paperback, 978-1-62697-146-2; $8.99, e-book, 978-1-62697-147-9) addresses the country’s moral erosion in a unique manner, when a retired, U.S. military female chaplain and a teenage boy unexpectedly join forces to win the hearts and minds of the next generation of young Americans—young Americans who rise up and radically change this nation.

“The reader will gain an insight into the disturbing and continuous moral degradation of this nation and the distance we have come from the original intent of our Founding Fathers,” states the author. “But it is not the information that is as important to the reader as the transformation that will occur in them as they assimilate the underlying truths of God uniquely presented through the interactions and adventures of the main characters.”

The author, a Vietnam veteran flight nurse, former college nursing instructor, Christian schoolteacher, and volunteer Florida Army National Guard Chaplain, is currently ministering as an associate pastor in Tampa, FL, as well as continuing service as Chaplain (Lt Col) in the Air Force Auxiliary/Civil Air Patrol. Dr. Pugsley is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars while living out a life of service to God and country. With degrees in nursing, counseling and a Doctorate in Biblical studies, she brings a multi-faceted voice to the reader.
