MAITLAND, FL—
Within the pages of Doreen L. Guma’s new book, If I Knew Then What I Know Now,
Our Quest for Quality of Life ($16.99, paperback, 978-1-62697-219-3; $8.99, e-book, 978-1-62697-220-9) is a compilation of the author’s plus
seventeen contributors’ experiences, actions, observations and discoveries made.
The author invites readers on a journey as she and the others courageously
share their personal, heartfelt stories about what they have learned through
life lessons and trial and error.
“This book is hope,” states the author. “Its goal
is to re-empower a person, as we all have power within. We can all have an
amazing life, and this book can provide the reader what they might need to scale
their mountains and achieve victory.”
Doreen believes a lot of us have
said it, “If I knew then what I know now,” and is excited to finally see this
book come to fruition. A vision that started nine years ago in 2004, Doreen asked
family, friends and professionals from her website, www.TimetoPlay.com that had
personally experienced an issue prevalent in our society today to contribute
their stories. Doreen and the contributors have graciously shared heartfelt
stories about what they’ve learned through life lessons and trial and error.
This book is a compilation of their experiences: things they have done, what
they have learned, and observations they have made, with the hope someone will
recognize themselves in their stories and spark a change to make their own lives
better.
