MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Nancy Cook Farley’s new book, Bubble Gum Memories and Beyond: Reflections of the 1950's and 1960's ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-62697-318-3; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-62697-319-0) readers will discover entertaining, informative and soul-stirring stories of the ‘50s and ‘60s in America.

“I want readers to remember and/or learn about those important decades in American history and how they changed who we are today,” states the author. “The 1950s and the 1960s shaped the lives of the Baby Boom generation and set America on a vastly different course. We watched as those simple, ‘bubble gum’ days gave way to a revolution that burst our bubbles, stole our innocence and changed us forever.”

Nancy Cook Farley grew up in Northeastern Kentucky and earned degrees at the University of Kentucky, Morehead State University and Georgetown College. She spent most of her teaching career at Kentucky State University as a counselor/English instructor. She and her husband, Robert, now live on a farm in central Kentucky where they enjoy frequent visits from their children and grandchildren.
