MAITLAND, FL— Tommy and Linda Jeffords’s book, God’s Child ($8.99, paperback, 978-1-62697-279-7;
$4.99, e-book, 978-1-62697-280-3)
communicates
that, even in the midst of desperation, God is always in charge. It is natural
for people not to understand why tragedies take place in their lives; however,
it is imperative to understand that “all things work together for good for
those who love the Lord.” (Romans 8:28)
“Our hope is that readers will be able to better understand how God works and thereby they may grow spiritually, and that those who don’t know Jesus as their Savior may come to do so,” state the authors. The Jeffords’ objective is to emphasize how important it is to place complete trust in God.
Linda has forty-five years experience as a Registered Nurse and has many years experience as a Sunday school teacher and church leader. Tommy has served nine years as a deacon at College Park Baptist Church as well as two years as a deacon art Hopewell Presbyterian Church and nine years as an elder at Parkwood Presbyterian Church all located in Florence, SC.
