Efrain Cotto was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico and is the fifth of ten brothers and sisters. A few months after moving to the United States at the age of ten, he lost his mother to cancer. Cotto has lived in New York City, Chicago, and currently lives in San Diego. Despite not being able to finish his high school education, Cotto has finally accomplished his dream to write and publish a book. He hopes to inspire his readers to follow their dreams because he is living proof that if one believes and works hard, anything is possible.
