MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Dr. Raymond West’s new book, Confessions of a Christian Physician ($21.49, paperback, 9781626973299; $9.99, e-book, 9781626973305) readers will experience stories about the practice of medicine centered on Christ. Dr. West emphasizes through case histories and events what is missing from the practice of a non-Christian doctor: a healing therapy.

“[The book is] readable, believable and most any adult who has ever visited a physician will find in it an event that touches a familiar memory,” states the author. “All healing comes from Heaven; patient and doctor alike do well to walk after the example of ‘The Great Physician.’”

Dr. Raymond West is extremely experienced in the practice of medicine. He served three years in the Med Corps in the Canadian Navy. He received his M.D. degree from Loma Linda University and his M.P.H. and M.Sc. degrees from Harvard School of Public Health. He has practiced in Canada and Washington D.C. and received his Board Certification in family medicine and preventive medicine. Dr. West has taught courses in preventive medicine, epidemiology and health in many countries including the US, Canada, Switzerland and Bangladesh. The author is married with four children and not only enjoys the field of medicine, but he has a passion for scuba diving and wind surfing.
