MAITLAND, FL— In her new book, The Cat Who Lost His Meow ($12.99, paperback, 9781628394665; $5.99, e-book, 9781628394672) Shirley M. Suedkamp shares a two-fold mission: to show children that God created each of His creation for a purpose and that He delights in seeing His children work together to accomplish His good and perfect will.

“It is my hope that this book will be read by parents to their children and the message of cooperation and unity will be shared with each other,” states the author. “[I hope] that they will see that God uses these unlikely characters, who became friends, to show His love for each of us. God wants us to value each other the way He does.”

Shirley Mae Suedkamp was born and raised in South Dakota. She graduated with a B.A. in education. She and her husband, Dick, now call Denver, Colorado home. They have two children who are both married. They have four grandchildren, who Shirley has told magical bedtime stories for years now. Shirley adds, “It is my heart’s desire that children come to know the Lord and lead their parents to belief in Jesus.”
