MAITLAND, FL— In her new book, JENNIFER’S HEALING — Second in “The Journey” series ($24.99, paperback, 9781628394597; $9.99, e-book, 9781628394603) Susan DeBeeson shares the key to liberation from the bondage of emotion and physical abuse—made available through “caring, supportive relationships that extend God’s truth and love.” The author encourages women, especially, to show love toward one another. Listening and lending understanding or “feeling with” a hurting individual can make a significant impact and begins the healing process.

My perspective brings attention to the great social needs that surround abuse,” states the author. “Freedom is available! I have experienced freedom, biblically, and I know that women don’t need to be either victimized or switch to living as an angry, resentful militant.”

Susan DeBeeson was born in Seattle, Washington. She and husband, Max, raised three children and ministered in churches in the United States, Nepal and Canada. Susan has written poetry, articles, short stories and now the second novel in the “Journey Series.” The passion to write the “Jennifer” story came out of working with hurting families and wanting to encourage others to befriend and help them. She adds, “In pastoral ministry, my husband and I came alongside those who had painful life experiences that were still holding them back. I have spent my adult life studying bondage and breaking free from what holds us frail humans in a less-than productive, fulfilling life. God intends freedom, purpose and joy for us!”
